Robbie Alm is the President of the Collaborative Leaders Network (CLN), an Omidyar Family Enterprise initiative designed to encourage more productive community dialog and decision-making.
Most recently, he was Executive Vice President of Hawaiian Electric responsible, among other things, for the transition of the Company to a clean energy future.
Prior to joining Hawaiian Electric, he was an Executive Vice President at First Hawaiian Bank, and Director of State Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs; and worked for U.S. Senator Daniel K. Inouye.
He is active in the community and is Chair of PBS Hawaii and of Enterprise Honolulu; and serves on the Boards of Helping Hands Hawaii, Friends of Iolani Palace, Hawaii Institute for Public Affairs, and Pacific Links Hawaii Foundation, among others. Robbie teaches a graduate course on leadership in the Public Administration Program at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
Robbie is a graduate of University High School, University of Hawaii (B.A.) and the University of Iowa School of Law (J.D.). He and his wife Cindy (an attorney and mediator) have two daughters, Kristin and Rachel.
